ARE YOU AN EAGLE BY GOD’S DESIGN?

This is a very important question that I would encourage everyone to ask him or herself. That is an assignment for you, no one else can determine that for you.

In the interim, while you are conducting an introspection I will go ahead and declare to you that “I Joan, I’m An Eagle by God’s Design.” I am uniquely designed so I feed my mind with only things that are positive and healthy in nature. Those things which are edifying, empowering, motivating and those that seek to uplift me. I endeavor to have a healthy mind.

Not only do I feed my mind, but I also feed my body with foods that are good and nutritious. Remembering that I am what I eat!

My soul is never being left out of that.  I continuously focus on the word of God so I can have a deep settled peace. Always ensuring that my soul has no space for anger, fear, bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. That space is too pricey, I cannot afford it!

Joan is pre-disposed to be uncommon and I’m of a special kind. Therefore, I cannot operate below my God-ordained standard and be like a chicken or any other bird that only stay on lowlands, scratching in the dirt, daily. Unapologetically, I am an eagle, by God’s design and one that is pre-destined for higher grounds. I fly at ONLY very high altitudes. I cannot run with the other types of birds, especially the raven because, that’s a destiny killer right there!!

I’ve been equipped with a strong and clear vision regarding my purpose, destiny and goals in life. I refuse to lean on my own understanding regarding how to get there, but I have the best compass that any sailor would ever dream of having. This compass is precise so even if it becomes necessary for me to be detoured to meander my way through deep and opaque waters, I rest assure that my compass will get me to my destination, safely and right on time. While I am being re-routed, I remain focused on my goals, despite life’s idiosyncrasies.

I don’t avail my receptacles in the form of my ears to become a depository for garbage, because “Garbage In, Garbage Out.” Remember, I’m an eagle by God’s design.”

An eagle is designed to weather the most vehement storm because that is when its most inner strength is put to the test. Nb. That defines me in that, as mentioned, I am an Eagle.

Greatness cannot be achieved in shallow waters. Neither can any muscle in one’s body become strong and fully developed, unless placed under intense pressure. However, at the end of that process, it becomes so strong and can face any other advanced challenge.

Also, a rose or even an olive plant must go through intense pressure to be turned into something precious. For example, for a rose to be used to make some of our most desired fragrances, it must be pressed greatly, but in the end, the process was not in vain. For the olive plant there is also “a process,” but after that we are provided with the precious olive oil. 

In addition, I cannot be parked at “ground zero.” Instead, I will continue and forever soar for the sky because that’s my only limit. I will continue to soar above the devastating experiences, pain etc. and simultaneously empower others to do likewise.
